From BDN Program to Boardroom: Tanya P.’s Journey
Board Diversity Network is proud to congratulate BDN alumna Tanya P. on her recent appointments to the boards—and their respective finance, audit, and risk committees—of ‘Dress for Success -Vancouver’ and ‘The Kettle Society’.
Reflecting on her journey, Tanya shared the impact BDN had on her board readiness and professional growth:
“As I reflect on the past year, I want to share how significant an impact BDN has had on my 2025. I am truly grateful for the connections I made and for completing the BDN Board Readiness Program and certification in 2025.”
Tanya’s experience reflects what BDN is designed to do: equip board-ready leaders with the governance foundation, confidence, and network to step into board and committee roles.
“Thank you for the confidence and for consistently encouraging stretch opportunities like this.”
At BDN, we believe board appointments are the outcome of intentional preparation, credible governance education, and access to the right network. As Tanya shared:
“I have learned so much about myself, what I am looking for, and what feels right. It has been an incredibly enriching experience. Thank you.”
Congratulations, Tanya, on these well-deserved appointments. We’re proud to be part of your board journey.
