At Board Diversity Network, we believe in inclusive and diverse boardrooms and have created a program to support diverse executives who are passionate about becoming board members.
Our mission is to prepare Indigenous, racialized, gender diverse, 2SLGBTQI+, and executives with disabilities to become sought-after board candidates through our comprehensive networking and board-readiness educational program.
We’ve been where you are. Our founders have navigated the path from executive to board director. Drawing on decades of corporate leadership, board service, and governance expertise, we built Board Diversity Network to create the structured pathway we didn’t have: formal board readiness education, intentional network building, and recognized credentials that level the playing field.
We go beyond governance theory, sharing real-world insights, unwritten rules, and strategic relationships that turn executive experience into board appointments. Our success is measured by every AccBD designation earned, every board seat secured, and every boardroom strengthened by the diverse perspectives of our community.
At the Board Diversity Network, we know you have the executive experience, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities that boards need. What you may lack is access to the networks and formal credentials that open boardroom doors.
That’s exactly what we provide. Our program equips you with three essential elements for board success:
We’ve built the structured pathway that diverse executives deserve, transforming your qualifications into board opportunities.
