Board Readiness Program in Vancouver Celebrates First Graduating Class
Board Diversity Network celebrated the graduation of participants from its first-ever Vancouver Board Readiness and Networking Program last month.
The event began with opening remarks from BDN co-founder Lori-Ann Beausoleil FCPA, FCA, followed by thoughtful reflections from cohort members Donna Howes, Director, Howes Technical Advantage Ltd; Josh Vander Vies, Director, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Vancouver Airport Authority; and Sid Hathiramani, CPA, CA, Chief Operating Officer, Watson Board Advisors.
Their testimonials underscored the value of the BDN community, the impact of the curriculum, and the meaningful contributions of the program’s dedicated faculty. Each speaker shared their commitment to remaining connected with BDN and expressed confidence in applying their new skills and insights as they move into board leadership roles.
After the graduation ceremony, graduates took part in a networking session, an opportunity to reconnect, celebrate their achievements, and discuss the next phase of their board journeys.
We are immensely proud of our inaugural Vancouver cohort and look forward to witnessing the continued growth of these accomplished leaders.
Congratulations to all!
