Celebrating Sandra Rosier’s Appointment to the OSSTF ELHT Board of Trustees

The Board Diversity Network is thrilled to congratulate our AccBD graduate Sandra Rosier on her appointment to the Board of Trustees of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation Employee Life and Health Trust (OSSTF ELHT) — by official letter from the Minister of Education.

The OSSTF ELHT oversees life, health and dental benefits for more than 49,000 secondary teachers and education workers across Ontario. It is a board that operates at the complex intersection of employee benefits, fund and asset management, and collective bargaining — and Sandra brings exactly the governance depth and leadership presence this mandate demands.

What makes this appointment especially remarkable is the journey behind it. Sandra began this process in September 2024. Provincial elections paused the nomination. Over a year passed. And then — out of the blue — the Minister’s office called to say she was on the shortlist. She stayed ready. And when the moment came, she was prepared.
